Former Hull City striker Ben Burgess, whose goals contributed immensely to Hull City’s promotion from the fourth division in 2003/4, is planning for his post-football future by training to be a journalist.
He has a year to run on his contract with Blackpool, but is also on work placement at the town’s daily Blackpool Gazette title.
